On May 4, 2019, The Gulfport Police arrested 51 year old Angela Michelle Fletcher of Gulfport charging her with Aggravated Domestic Assault. The arrest stemmed from an incident where on May 4, 2019, at approximately 11:39 PM, officers responded to the 200 block of Debuys Road to investigate a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim suffering from a single gunshot wound.
The initial investigation revealed that Fletcher and the victim, who are in a dating relationship, were involved in an altercation when Fletcher retrieved a firearm and shot the victim. Fletcher was taken into custody on scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Fletcher was later transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center with a bond of $50,000.00 set by Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner.
