On February 24, 2019, at approximately 6:24 pm, the Gulfport Police responded to the 2300 block 26th Avenue to investigate an assault. Upon arrival, officers located a deceased male in the wooded area west of 26th Avenue. Initial investigation revealed that the victim was assaulted by the suspect and succumbed to his injuries.
The suspect, later identified as 44 year old Eli Martinez Medina, is currently being sought for the charge of Murder. Medina should be considered ARMED and DANGEROUS.
