The Gulfport Police Department is providing the following Summer Camps for 2018.  Flyers will be dropped off at Schools within the City of Gulfport.  All camps will be operated by the Gulfport Police Department’s School Resource Division. Camps are on a first come first serve basis and are free of charge.  Please call the Gulfport Police Department’s Community Relations Division at 228-868-5703 for information. Gulfport Police Department Youth Leadership Program for ages 13 – 17.  This camp will be operated at Central Middle School beginning May 30th and ends July 27th.  This program is designed and focuses on the strong core values to develop future leaders of our communities.  Students will not only learn life skills to become successful but will learn to give back to their communities by service projects to help others.

Gulfport Police Department Kids Fishing Camp for ages 9 – 13.  This camp will instruct kids on the fundamentals of fishing and learn about the fishing culture of the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Campers will also be instructed on Boaters Safety by the Department of Marine Resources Law Enforcement Division. There are five camps available, all of which run for one week each.  Camp dates are as follows;

June 4th – June 8th

June 11th – June 15th

June 25th – June 29th

July 9th – July 13th

July 16th – July 20th
