On August 14, 2018 the Gulfport Police Department arrested 35 year old Rebekah Leigh Bennett, of Gulfport, charging her with one count of Malicious Mischief.

The arrest was the result of a patrol response, on July 17, 2018 at 12:47 a.m., to the 900 block of Courthouse Rd in reference a report of an egged vehicle. The complainant stated that their vehicle was damaged by juveniles throwing eggs. The vehicle was damaged in excess of $1,000. A Gulfport Detective was assigned. The resulting investigation led to the arrest of Bennett. A warrant was obtained from Harrison County Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner who set bond at $1,000.

Bennett turned herself in to the Gulfport Police Department where she was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. There were four juveniles involved in the incident (identity withheld) who will be referred to Harrison County Youth Court.

On August 21, 2018, at approximately 8:00 a.m., Bennett turned herself in to the Gulfport Police Department for a felony warrant for Directing or Causing Felony to be Committed by Minor. She was processed and transported to the Harrison County Adult Detention Center. The Warrant was obtained from Harrison County Justice Court Judge Brandon Ladner who set bond at $1,000.
