On January 15, 2018, at approximately 1:30 p.m., Gulfport Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 block of 26th Street. Upon arrival Officers located a 41 year old male victim who was suffering from one non life threatening gunshot wound to his leg. The victim and suspect were known to each other and are involved in an ongoing dispute. The shooting occurred outside of a residence.

Gulfport Detectives responded and the resulting investigation led to 41 year old Marvin Ray McMillian being identified as the suspect. Detectives obtained a warrant for the arrest of McMillian charging him with one count of Aggravated Assault. McMillian has not yet been arrested.
